About Me
I am an award winning hairdresser and have worked as Art Director in some of Dublins most prestigious salons for over 24 years.
I come with a wealth of knowledge and passion and just 'get' hair.
I love cutting hair as much as I equally love colouring.
They tend to go hand-in-hand with me.
I'm originally from Achill Island in Mayo.
I have worked in Tv, film, radio, done editorial shoots for magazines, fashion shoots, directed hair for fashion shows, music videos, wedding hair the list goes on.....
That's the fancy stuff but the work I find most rewarding is what I do on the salon floor!
This is where the real magic happens.
During lockdown I set up
'Gemma's Virtual Hair Salon'
It enabled me to help out clients, both old and new to teach them how to solve their lockdown hair problem.
As well as keeping me sane most importantly i raised €2000.00 for Jigsaw!
